Yes in form 4 they teach young earth and old earth creationisms as valid views to be respected. They do not official say that they are true or that you should agree with them, but it is taught.

I don’t understand how this is legal.

Have you heard of the first amendment? It's not the 16th century any more. The people in power can't burn heretics.

If you take a tour and look closely at the whole school photos on the wall in the lobby you will see a huge turnover in staff starting in about 2020. This was not a coincidence. You'll also notice a contingent of student turnover as well.

The website has been updated since this comment was posted. Something that is now clearly from the website? Teacher profiles. Maybe because they all keep quitting…
But don’t worry, there’s still a puff piece about the head of school.

Do not send your kids to this school. It is undergoing systemic collapse (teachers and families leaving without being replaced). That is all that I can say for the time being.

That doesn’t sound good. Isn’t there a board or something to step in and right the ship?

The board of directors was compromised and dominated by the HoS who essentially used the board members’ kids as hostages.

“Your kid is having a really good time here. Would be an awful shame if anything jeopardized that experience.”

Woah. That’s really terrible 😬

Yes, it is. Accreditation might have prevented the takeover of the board, but the school isn’t accredited by any organization, either.

The school is alright. The teachers target some students and there is ongoing drama. In form four there is always some teacher to talk about. The leaders in the school are very strict and I have heard that some students are afraid to learn. Multiple teachers are hated. The off key singing at their so called opening is horrible.

If students are targeted by teachers and are afraid to go to school or class, then the school is not “alright.” If you are a student in this situation, please make sure to tell your parents what is happening. What you are describing is not OK.

“the school is alright” followed by five reasons why it isn’t lol

Now a year later, are there any updates? Are HOS and other leaders firmly entrenched? Descriptions of the conflict are very vague - Can anyone provide a specific example of a policy or action that is contributing to the controversy?
Anonymous
Leadership is still firmly entrenched, and as far as I know, still answers to no one. What folks need to understand is that there isn’t a single conflict but a culture of toxicity driven by the leadership that affects all aspects of the school. One previous poster in this thread said something like “if I told you all the stories you wouldn’t believe me,” and it’s true. There is a long list of families and former staff who have been traumatized in one way or another. I wish I could be more specific, but it’s such a small school that *anything* would be identifiable, and leadership monitors this site.

148 students PK-12 works out to about 10-11 kids per grade. Seems like it would be a challenge to run at those numbers.

Your numbers are not inaccurate. And a quick look at their 990 shows that they spent more than they took in last year.

What are the accurate numbers, then? Niche says 150 total in pk-12. If that’s not correct, what is, and what’s your source?
