I have to know. What ride at DW was the scariest you have ever been on? |
| My kid is 9 now and still wants to go to Dutch Wonderland. We usually go on a weekday in June ( I let her play hooky for a day) it’s an hour and 45 mins from Silver Spring. We get there at 12, eat picnic lunch outside under a shady tree in the picnic area. Then go in and do rides until 3-4. Then do Dukes Lagoon for an hour/hour and a half, go back on the rides again and leave at 6 when it closed and hit the sonic drive thru for the ride home. We also watch the water show and get an ice cream in there too. I love DW. |
she said a tunnel with spiders. I’ve been going to DW for years and never seen this tunnel. I’ve been on the boat ride near the front and the other canoe type ride near the back, no tunnels….. |
Ha, it might not be a tunnel. Maybe it was just going under a bridge or overpass or something. I think it was near the end where you get off the boat. Some covered area. It has been at least 8 years since I have been, so I am not entirely sure. But there were a ton of spiders. I have a huge fear of them and by the end was nearly hyperventilating. It was unpleasant lol. BUT i assume that is not the norm

I just went this weekend and did not see any spiders. It’s a relaxing boat ride. We went on it twice because there wasn’t a line! |
| Definitely Dutch Wonderland at that age. My kids loved it so much. They still kind of want to go and they are tweens! |
