Guess you’ve missed the numerous texts/ emails/ requests from MCPS to test your child before they return from Spring Break? |
This. No interest in testing my asymptomatic kids. This is insane. We’ll pass, thanks. I’ll test my kids if/when they have symptoms. |
I didn’t receive a single email about this, and I just double checked my spam. I even got an email from the principal about this weeks event but no mention of testing. I used to get emails so I don’t know why suddenly it stopped but you can’t enforce something like this if people slip through the cracks. |
| Oops, I do recall seeing an email about this but forgot this morning. Oh well! |
So, you are sending your Covid sick kids to school. What is wrong with you! |
Same. DH and I are boosted, our elementary kids are vaccinated. If they develop symptoms, we’ll test them, but if not? Nope. -Liberal scientist |
Most people aren't going to test. The families that do are probably already sheltering in place and/or triple-masking. This is a pretty meaningless request. |
LOL when someone signs their post with liberal or something similar you know the truth is the exact opposite |
What makes you think my kids have Covid? You are welcome to keep sticking a swab up your kids nose every week, but I have zero interest in doing so. No good reason for MCPS asking everyone to test kids who have no symptoms. |
Agreed. |
Nope. Try again. Or maybe I’m just secure in my liberalism, so I don’t worry about people misinterpreting my actions. |
I know and when the test comes back positive it could be just a mistake and I'd have to arrange for childcare which is super-inconvenient. That's why I'm against all this testing. |
People like you are the reason the rest of us now need to keep our kids home for two weeks after spring break.
|
Well, I guess telling the truth by signing it with fringe right-wing astroturfer isn't that convincing. |
We tested. We went overseas for spring break and although we did wear masks, we had a lot of exposure. The schools asked us to test and it is the right thing to do. |
