Restaurant for 'before prom' dinner

Anonymous
My DS, his date and another couple went to McCormick & Schmick's in Crystal City back in 2018. They have some tables/booths in their dining room with curtains around them. When I made the reservation, I told them it was for prom and the restaurant had some extra decorations for their table and a special prom menu. They didn't have to order off the special menu but it was a nice touch.

When is the last time you have seen tuxedos an gowns at a restaurant that is not a wedding reception.

Who are you?? OP, prom season is fun. I’ve seen prom groups at Liberty Tavern and True Food. LT was a large group and the restaurant handled them well. J Gilbert’s has a private room which can be fun too, although it’s more pricey. Patsy’s in Tysons can also handle a big group. My DD and friends went into DC for dinner and pictures on the mall.

Yes I always see tons of pre Prom/homecoming dinners at Tysons Galleria.

Don't send them to a fancy restaurant they are teenagers and probably won't eat that shit.

Most fancy places don’t have odd food top to bottom on their menu. And I don’t understand going to a run of the mill place for special occasions. Going to a fancy restaurant is a life skill that a lot of people don’t get.
