Landon has had a great acceptance year

This was a tough year to be an upper middle class kid. All the college counselors say so. Any of those kids, or schools that serve those kids knows it. Congratulations all around. The reality is that a good outcome this year looks a bit different than it did a couple of years ago.

Agree this is not about poor or wealthy. This is numbers. The applications per student has risen each year according to the common app, with a big pop during Covid. Then add test optional. We know students who applied to 15-20 schools and celebrate that they are in at 5 and will now make their decision. That has an impact on others.
