I have just bought these with the plan to wear them for air travel. They are GREAT!

These look like they would show every bulge and cottage cheese-y part of my ass.

PP. I am not exactly slender and had the same concern. I bought size L, and it looks surprisingly decent due to thickness and not being tight.

I swear by my Duluth Trading pull on pants. I don't buy anything else there but these are amazing. The fabric is thick and after many washes are the same as when I bought them. Slimming for me (5'5" and 165) and have pockets.

They look like Dickies on that model.

If you aren’t smal Costco sells lots of pull on pants. Their sizing runs very large and they seldom have small or extra small but if you are bigger these might work.

Try the generic "Nordstrom Signature" cashmere wide leg pants. So comfortable.

If you’re short legged, the slit wide leg Abercrombie sweatpants are IT. So comfortable but they don’t look like sloppy sweatpants. I literally get compliments every time I wear them. I go one side up for a loose fit. They run short which is why I say if you’re short legged they’re perfect. Hit at just the right spot.

Different poster- I am looking for knit cotton pants that are loose fitting in the crotch area— would these work?

This is the poster who first posted about the LL Bean Perfect Fit pants. They actually offer them in several styles (straight leg, boot leg, slim, leggings, cropped, etc.). I always buy the bootleg. They sit a little low on my waist, which I like and the boot cut is only slightly tapered, so you don't look like you're wearing bell bottoms or anything. The waist band on the bootleg are 1.5 or 2 inches wide, which IMO is the perfect width for giving me a flat, smooth appearance without giving me that rubber band around your waist uncomfortable feeling. I've bought the straight leg version in the past and really did not like where the waistband sat or how the waistband felt. I highly recommend the perfect fit pants for travel wear
