Some Subaru dealerships do rentals, both short and long-term. You need to call around and be willing to go up to 100+ miles to pick it up.

Not sure if they would rent to a teen. That said, you could give teen your car and then drive the rental. That would minimize costs, given the rental surcharges for young drivers. |
No OP, but I like this idea for my teen. What would you consider to be high miles but not too many? A Nisson Altima w/ 130k? |
I like subarus too but having been car shopping lately, most manufacturers offer all the current safety features standard nowadays. |
