what kind of tea makes a good iced tea?

Red Rose or Lipton, 6 bags in 2 quarts of water. 5 minutes with the tea bags in.
remove promptly. Let cool. Add sugar (or splenda) and lemon.

I absolutely DESPISE sweet tea, but I'm not rude about it. LOL

Lately I've been making iced tea out of PG Tips (caffeinated) or Salada Green Tea (decaffeinated version). I use an iced tea maker.

I like iced Darjeeling.

I use PG Tips. It seems like a waste of good British tea, but even my MIL -- a southerner -- compliments my iced tea.
