And the narrative being told by Russian state media was evolved from we need to "liberate" Ukraine to we need to "liquidate" it.

So what if NATO is on Russia's border? NATO is also on the border of other non-NATO countries like Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland. Do they feel threatened by NATO? No. Why not? Because they aren't a threat to NATO. NATO is only a threat to Russia because Russia has made itself a threat to NATO.

Russia has a long history of genocides. NATO has nothing to with it.
