Hogan goes after DeSantis and “absurd” don’t say gay legislation on CNN

In some ways I actually prefer the more wild Republicans who say the quiet part out loud.

The bill isn’t that long. If you’re going to be asked about it on national TV you should read it.

+ 1,000,000!! What a moron!

The origin story behind this whole law, the one cited constantly by DeSantis and by his fans in the now-locked thread about it, was a lie.

Oh please. Trump did not read his intelligence breifings, and he said stuff all the time about his *thoughts* on international trade, security, etc.

He stopped getting them after 1/6. Please have some intellectual honesty.

Yup! And that is moronic too. You are able to think critically and criticize BOTH sides and the SAME TIME, you know?

Then again, any more conservative than Hogan and the mob would literally hunt him down and light him on fire. So not surprised.

lol.. today's Rs are more like nationalists who support isolationist strategy. They are not real Rs.

Hogan is trying to be a moderate; he has to be to succeed in blue state of MD.

I don’t understand why anyone who cares about rights would be for repealing the Reedy Creek Act. It’s insane.

DMV should lobby for Disney to move here - Norfolk or Ocean City areas could work!

I’m a Dem from Maryland, but I’m proud of Hogan for conducting himself as a rational conservative who isn’t afraid to call out the lunacy.

He’s definitely tearing up to run for president, and cnn loves him. He’s routinely on cnn.

Hogan is a Republican hack just like DeSantis, but not as obvious and open. He vetoed abortion legislation in Maryland, thankfully overriden by the legislature.

DP.. uh, yes, because he's still a R. But, at least Hogan is not over reaching and rejecting text books for teaching social emotional learning. Desantis is a nutjob and doesn't want kids to learn about the country's racist past because it hurts their white snowflakes' feelings. You know what Rs say.. "fuc* your feelings".

Go Governor DeSantis!!

Clearly, you and Desantis are scrooges to attack "The Happiest Place on Earth". /s

Actually, I despise Disney World, but Desantis seems to be practicing his own version of "cancel culture" on any corporation that disagrees with his policies. Anyone who supports Desantis on this is a big fact hypocrite when it comes to "cancel culture".

I guess FL is only "business friendly" as long as they agree with Desantis. Seems a bit authoritarian and Kim JungUn-esque, though I suppose that seems to be how Rs like to operate now with Trump et al -- "you must agree with my policies or you will suffer the consequences".

Maybe Desantis doesn't like how a company headquartered in CA is getting involved in Florida politics and opposing a bill which a majority of Floridians agreed with. And it is called the Parental Rights in Education bill not the "don't say gay bill".
