Should I have tipped more?

You need to tell us your tip amount before we can tell you what is right/wrong.

No, it’s not on delivery.

Did OP ever say what she tipped?

She did not, which clearly indicates it was cheap AF.

Yeah, the fact that she's concealing this is a dead giveaway.

Two things likely are true . . . the delivery driver acted inappropriately, and OP undertipped.

No, you are fine. I'd call the restaurant back and let them know you will never order from them again. What a sh*tty jerk.

How can you say that if you don't know what she tipped?

I feel like if slavery were legal, some people (OP) would be totally there for it. If you don’t want to pay someone to bring you food, get your own effing food, princess.

1.yes you tip the driver (keep in mind gas prices right now). you also tip for the food if it's a regular restaurant where you could sit down where you would tip for take-out. You do in fact have to tip both sets of people.
2. How the driver handled it was not okay.
Both are true

OP doesn't need to. The restaurant will probably fire her as a client.

OP, you should tip more. If you don't want to tip then pick up your order, its really not that hard. Gas prices are increasing and so is food, rent and everything else. The driver might be making a decent wage per hour but most of that might be getting eaten up by gas/car expenses. Society has a general duty to ensure that its populace is not struggling to make ends meet.

How do you start a thread titled "Should I have tipped more?" without including the food total and the amount you tipped?

The OP's conscious told her that she was wrong but she probably wanted someone to help her justify her terrible behavior.

OP drivers from local businesses, especially mom & pops mark your house when you tip low and you are less likely to get good service or risk having your food tampered with.

Yes, it is. They should charge a delivery fee if they want a set amount.

Yep, people will spit in your food. I wouldn't order from that place again, OP.
