Anyone paint the interior recently?

At least 10k. And if you're spending that much- get new baseboards. We just got new baseboards, painted them ourselves and put them up. So much nicer and cleaner than nasty old tiny baseboards. I wouldn't pay to paint old crummy ones.

OMFG. Please tell me this work took an entire month.

NP: what? not sure I understand your comment. why would it have to take an entire month?

30,000 is a lot of money for what is mostly labor and likely undocumented workers. 30k is a freaking car.

And what if a worker gets hurt painting your house? You will have liability. I’d go with a licensed company every time.

Just spent $10K for licensed, bonded painter to paint large home LR, 2-story foyer, stairwell, upstairs hallway. Including ceilings, contrasting trim, pillars, spindles on the stairway, and fixing and painting a ceiling leak/hole in the kitchen. Done in 4 days. Last day was touch ups and final clean up. He's a Gem and not messy, and I seldom share his name b/c he's busy.
