NP. I feel like my Italian professor said it was Alessa (my name is Allison and so my Italian class name was Alessandra) but that was years ago.

The Alessandra I knew growing up went by Sandy.

One of DD's bff's is Alessandra and she just goes by Alessandra. It's a beautiful name! It doesn't need a nick name if there isn't something that screams to you.

Anyway, I would agree that Alessandra doesn’t need a nickname.

My DD has a friend who was Sasha as a little girl, and now she definitely prefers Alexandra.

I love Alessandra but, yeah, it needs a nickname! It’s four syllables.

I love Allie and Andy. Sandy isn’t a favorite of mine.
