They are not all star material, but they can hold their own in meets (sometimes first, sometimes last depending on the pool we swam/dove against). What are the pros and cons for any of these swim clubs? I don't think any have a waitlist:

Canterbury Woods
Parliament
Ravensworth Farm
North Springfield
Edsall Park

Any reason by Wakefield Chapel is not on the list? They also have a dive team and you don't have to be a member of the community to join the pool, and they do a lot of team building/ social activities so it's a great way to make friends. Truro is also in this area, too. Those both pyramid into WT Woodson FWIW (not sure where your kids will be attending schools).

When DD swam against Wakefield Chapel, the facilities seemed great. I'd definitely look into it.

Also Ilda Pool near Canterbury Woods Elem is a great team and pool that is very chill if that’s what you’re going for. Super nice kids and parents.

where are you going to live? that is the pool I would pick.

I would go to the closest to your house where their friends from school will go.

Where do you plan to live?

Parliament and Broyhill are two of the nicest, warmest most welcoming pools in the NVSL. Seriously.

Camelot is an amazing neighborhood with a good team (swim and dive).

Wakefield is a good bet and the SHRA recommendation is solid. Not sure if they have a waitlist though.

I would strongly recommend staying away from Edsall Park.

I second Ilda if you are going to be out that way.
