How long are Meal Trains usually given?

That is way too long. I wouldn't want people bringing cooked food to me for weeks or even a week. During a funeral week would be helpful to have cooked food to feed visitors but after that, I would be overwhelmed by it. It would be a waste and I would feel bad about the good intentions gone overboard.
