The Verizon rep in the Verizon store would not even tell us about the Gizmo watch bc he perceived them as an inferior product for DC. He actually showed Apple Watch.

We had the same issue with ours, it was sooo annoying. We ended up just buying a new charger.

Make sure it's cleaned thoroughly with alcohol. Both the base and the watch.

I was told we're out of warranty and Verizon would not do anything but sell us more product. I therefore just took our Gizmo Watch 2 apart that was having this issue. There was corrosion on the circuit board between the charger contacts and the battery plug. I am wondering if the circuit shorted out. It might be worth noting that the magnet that holds the watch on the charger was touching the circuit board in that exact location. I cleaned it up and put it back together but it's still not charging.

He gets an inferior commission for Gizmo.

Never deal with Verizon.

We bought the Gizmo 3 watch for my daughter and it died after 5 months. I would not buy this watch again.

I know this post is older but in case somebody searches-my kid's Gizmo stopped charging and turns out one of the tiny pins on the charger had about half broken off. It was hard to see until I looked at it with a light.

I bought a charger on Walmart.com and it charges just fine now.
