Pizza Delivery Logistics for Birthday Party

Sounds like a fun party OP. My kids love park and pizza parties.

Have your DH or a friend pick up the pizza so you know you will get it on time. I've been to so many parties where the pizza was late.

This is the pizza delivery nightmare playground party parents face. A real classic.

When we have ordered pizza for a playground party, we have also asked if we can hold on to the bag warmers and return them later that day. Might be something to ask about. Those bag warmers used by delivery keep the pizzas a good temperature.

Playground parties are a lot of fun for the kids - I am sure it will be a great birthday party no matter the food served.

My DC requested Paisano’s pizza, rather than Domino’s. Do you think it’s a good choice? I am allergic to cheese so I have never tried either.

Paisano's will be fine, but definitely get double-cut because their slices are large. I served Paisanos for our fifth grade picnic a few years ago and all the kids loved it but many couldn't finish the slice. I was originally a little worried because my DC doesn't like Paisanos but all the other kids did.

Agree with 4 at the latest. Pizza isn't like chicken - it still tastes good when only slightly warm and you could leave it in the box for an hour and it would be fine. Good luck!

I don't get the snarky responses. Yes, pizza delivery for a kids party is not a major crisis but is it awful that a parent asked for some advice on something that isn't a crisis?
