Agree you need to clean better in the shower with something antibacterial and your deodorant is going to work better.

I tried several aluminum-free deodorants without success until I found two that work for me. Dove 0% Aluminum and Native. It’s also important to use a good anti-bacterial soap.

Try an acid. Stridex in the red box (salicylic acid) or the Ordinary’s glycolic toner. I rarely use deodorant anymore unless I need antiperspirant. Much more effective for me than any aluminum free deodorant.

+1! Look for Antiperspirant, not deodorant too.

Degree 72 hour. There are a variety of scents in the mens and womens. I tried different “natural” ones for yearrrrrrrrrrs and just got tired of worrying about if I smelled.

Dial roll-on from Dollar Tree! White and green label. I buy 3 at a time. It remains kinda wet for several minutes, but this is the only deodorant/antiperspirant that works for me. I also shower and use Dial yellow soap on my feet and under my arms.

Nothing else was working for me at perimenopause.

I took the above advice from someone, maybe you, here about a year ago and started using the stridex. Life changing!! No BO, no gross deodorant build up clogging my pores, plus my underarms have never looked better in terms of ingrowns and evenness of the skin from the exfoliation. I still use deodorant if I know I’ll be out and about all day and sweating a lot, but 90% of the time the stridex works perfectly.

This is great advice. Works for me, too.

Old Spice Classic original scent. If your grandfather hadn't worn it you wouldn't exist.

Dove aluminum free. Tried to make naturals work, but either made me stink/ruined my clothes.

NP. I'm going to give the stridex pads a try. I've been using dry idea for years without problems and now for some reason, my underarms are incredibly itchy when I use it.
