Agree with this. I drove a 1990 Buick across the country in 2006 (it has 100K miles on it as well) and while it wasn't the best decision ever (no air conditioning in August in Las Vegas... not fun) it was fine. It's great to have one and in your kid's case it sounds absolutely necessary |
