| The only people I know who do this are people with kids that have winter birthdays. They celebrate their child’s half birthday in the summer instead. |
| We only did this a couple of times when one or another set of grandparents were around and thought it would be fun. Just a favorite dinner and dessert. |
| No. Don’t acknowledge it either. Never heard of it either. |
You have never heard a kid say they are three and a half? Really? |
| Yes! It’s fun and a milestone when they’re young. 1 is very different than 1.5; 3 is very different than 3.5. Not a party or anything but a family celebration with cake and gifts. |
| umm, no! |
| No. |
|
| Sure. Noted and with a special dinner and cake. One present from grandma. |
| I do not, but know people who celebrate monthsaries. I think it's mostly ridiculous, but don't care if someone else does it. |
|
Oh god no.
And I have two boys with Christmas birthdays. |
So much this. Good lord. |
| When DD was in nursery school and early elementary, she and other summer birthday kids would get to celebrate half-birthdays so they could had the same kind of classroom celebrations as the kids who had birthdays during the school year. |
| No, that's silly. |
And God forbid people do silly things with children. I mean that's a slippery slope. Soon you'll accidentally start having fun! |
