Push her into the breast- she will pop off. Say no biting. Put her down. Walk away. Keep an eye on her when nursing and only allow active suckling. You may want to use a cold teether prior. Is it happening in the beginning or end? If beginning try the teether. If at the end, shes done actively nursing. If due to movement or distraction, you must nurse her in a cool darker room with no distractions and again, pay attention to any signs of pulling back or retraction of the lower jaw. It could also be an ear infection. |
