When Does A Newborn Become More Predictable?

Roll with it. It’s very hard to get used to. That’s why people say newborns are hard.

I know it's considered one step above child abuse here at DCUM but we use baby wise and it's been a life saver.

Not just on DCUM, AAP issued a letter about babywise (earlier edition) because it was so awful to babies…

We definitely had some routine by 12 weeks but I would say 5 months was the big turning point. That’s when we did sleep training.

Something like 8-12 weeks. Maybe a little sooner for some. Obviously life is always going to be throwing something at you, but you can start to anticipate sleep/eat schedules a little more by that time.
