The older two are always whining and complaining and are very entitled, and rude and demanding to their mother. I have three teens who do not behave this way and watching the kids on this show is unpleasant. I realize I sound like an old fuddy duddy — I really am not! |

like all TV shows, if they were cute and sweet they'd be boring - the show needs conflict as a source of plot and / or comedy |

I just watched the most recent episode about their trip to England. I think it was one of the best.
While Sam is a bit over the top for me sometimes, I'm really going to miss this show after the final episode next week. As a single mom (of one daughter) I really appreciate how the show isn't about setting Sam up with a man. Rather, it's all the craziness and disappointment and fun and love single parenthood is and family is. |

I have to agree. First two seasons are fantastic and you should start there OP. I feel like it went downhill after Louis CK left (correctly- horrifying behavior). As and soon as the theme song Mother by John Lennon was replaced. Pamela Adlon is crazy charming and watchable but the enjoyment has been few and far between the last couple seasons for me. |

OK, I felt like the finale was just weird. Or maybe I was not getting references to other seasons or something.
I just didn’t understand the opening robot music video, or the closing, although I kind of liked it. |
