But don't you wish some of our DC tourists did a little research first for their own sake? I mean, I'm no fashionista but live near the Dupont Hilton and can spot a tourist a mile away.

I’m curious why there is no concern about looking shabby in your own city. Why is travel the only time many Americans find it appropriate to look nice?

Same. I wore exactly what I wear here when we were in London.
