I guess in my mind you only need a spreadsheet if there are a lot of entries in the vertical axis. I remember a poster here who once said she kept a spreadsheet of the guys she dating that included details like how the sex was and their money habits etc.

He just meant he needed to write them down. Like make a list so you don't forget. Some of us instinctively use spreadsheets for these kinds of things because of our jobs.
