Please explain AAP/Magnet/Gifted for Elementary school

Fairfax County is planning to eliminate AAP math in several elementary grades, and substitute the “E3” or E-cubed math model, for equity.

The plan is to expand E3 county-wide eventually.

There is no such thing as AAP math, only advanced math. AAP kids will still get AAP services. Kids in gen ed classes who are in Advanced math might be impacted by this program?
