Teacher posting with a pic of a gun

At my work place I focus on work and don't bring my hobbies into it. Try it.

The other 3 teachers had their masks on and so did most of the other kids.

LOL. I’ll bet you’re just walking around NOVA, talking to people, buying stuff at Harris Teeter, pretending to be a perfectly normal person.

They do the same thing in WV. Most schools have a fall break the first day of deer season.

One of ds's teachers was an avid hunter, rifle and bow. His profile picture is often of him with whatever he got.

Dumbass she didn't bring a gun to school, you know her workplace. Why was your kid trolling Facebook during school anyway??

I'm always a little suspect of teachers with easily searchable social media accounts (I'm an elder millennial teacher FWIW)

Because my DD said almost everyone in the classroom was wearing masks today only a couple kids were not, she was the only teacher not wearing a mas today, and then she showed me her Facebook and told she's pretty sure she voted for Trump and Yongkin.....
LCPS was force to lift their mask mandate today.. so it was the first day they didn't have to wear a mask.

We get it. You don’t like her. What do you want us to do? We aren’t going to pile on. She’s not doing anything illegal. It sounds like she wore a mask until she was allowed to take it off.

I teach in a different district that still forces me to mask. I will take it as soon as possible. Your child can wear an n95 if they like. I have been teaching in a mask for a long time and don’t want to any longer than is required. I don’t care who you think I voted for. I know teachers who are both D and R who feel the the same as me. Stop making masks political.

I think Facebook is challenging because they don’t make it easy to change the name you use. They want people to be under their real name.

Deer provides meat for a lot of families.

I'm 20:34. A lot of Virginians also hunt geese and dove to freeze and eat through the winter in addition to the deer.

Like OP her daughter is turning into a tedious, easily offended, anxiety-ridden, self-appointed internet policewoman. Bet she also gives long winded, self-congratulatory sermons with her eyes closed, parroting something she just read on HuffPo.

You’ve mentioned twice now she didn’t mask today. Which makes me think you’re a troll just trying to prove people who unmask are gun nut Trumpers.

Look, I'm super liberal, hate guns, and my kids are keeping masks on, but lady you live in Loudon County, what the hell did you expect? Par for the course, my friend.

+1. This here is why we didn’t move to Loudoun.

OP, it would bug me, too, but what can you do? It says a lot about who she is as a person so just double check what kids learn in her class to correct . Other than that, just hope she gets better teachers next year. Half this country is gun crazed
