It’s happening. It’s official. And this will play in my class as students come in. God bless America! 🇺🇸

If you are actually a teacher - which I hope is not the case - this post shows you are a cr*ppy teacher who only cares about herself. Even if many of your students will be happy to end masking, there will be a few who will feel some anxiety being around maskless students. Whether you agree or not, playing a song and gloating, is pretty unprofessional and shows you don't give a sh*t about all your students - just the ones who align with your masking views. It's all about you, isn't it? Sad...... Glad my kids don't have you as a teacher.

Their anxiety is their problem, and most likely reinforced by their anxious parents.

My kids may be the only ones in masks. Their aunt died from Covid so it's extra complicated. Congratulations to all those who are celebrating.

Does Youngkin's child who attends a private school that requires the covid vaccine get to go mask less tomorrow too?

Rip the band aid off. Forever maskers will have to deal.

Another? What other one are you referring to? They won the first mask lawsuit, which is why the General Assembly switched to new legislation instead.

Students can still wear masks if they feel more comfortable doing so and if they believe there is evidence they work.

Do you even realize the absurdity of what you have written here?

Please explain...

Well they probably have the ability to make their own choice.

The forever maskers can keep wearing them. No one is forcing anyone to give them up or wear them. You decide what is best for you/your family.

Ditto. Some children have family members that they are still trying to protect, so this is not exciting for them. In normal times they would never know about some of their families ailments, but because of Covid they’ve had to be made aware of why certain precautions need to be made. You should really think about y how it will make children feel if they’re not ready to unmask. By all means go maskless but don’t make a celebration out of it. For some kids it’s not a celebration quite yet. Way to alienate.

What are all of you going to do when the CDC changes it’s guidance next week? Ignore them? Claim they are wrong? Keep screaming about the immune compromised?

Until the end of time, yes. My grandma is only safe if your five year old is masked at school!

Students can wear masks if they FEEL more comfortable and if they BELIEVE there is evidence they work? In other words, facts be damned? It’s all for show based on what you feel or believe?

But moms night out is still on with no masks.
