The Costco cake is huge and inexpensive and good. It's perfect for a 10 year old's birthday.

Classic Bakery in Rockville has a good vanilla cake. Just ordered it last week. It was good. We also ordered it gluten free and that was good. Imagine the wheat version would taste better. It wasn't very sweet. It has other pastries to buy. For cakes, it's better to order in advance.
