Maywood is beautiful. We used to live in the townhouses across from the Safeway and I loved walking in the neighborhood. Lots of older houses, lots of kids, and walkable to Safeway, a few shops and restaurants, and a Dunkin' Donuts (preferred by some over Starbucks!). Two things about living there though - houses generally tend to sell really fast because it is an extremely desirable neighborhood and since it is a designated historic neighborhood, it can sometimes be difficult to make renovations to houses because there are restrictions on what you can do. Cherrydale is also nice and has a great park (Hayes). When we lived in the townhouse, our elementary school was Taylor, but we ended up moving to a SFH when my son was 1 so we never used the school. |
