What GPA? |
| 2022 ivy grad in economics. Not sure how many companies DC applied to but 6 offers including return offer from last year’s summer internship, all in targeted field of consulting. Seems like a great job market. |
What are the starting offers? |
I believe the low end was 85k/15k bonus and the high end was 110k and I don’t recall the bonus. I thought it was interesting that at least one firm adjusted its offer upwards post-offer which would indicate to me strong demand. |
That sounds about right. Obviously strong demand for Economics or Business degree from T20ish schools. The salay for consulting would be little lower than finance/IB, but as good as CS degeree. |
An ivy CS can go to $200,000 TC. |

Level Fyi. The more lucrative entry level SWEs pay approximately $200,000 TC. |

There’s nothing there about Ivies, or any other institutions’ programs.

what do you think went wrong? Gpa? Internships? |
My 2023 Econ major is on a similar trajectory at a much lower ranked school. Three internship offers with great firms, accepted one in consulting. Econ must be where it’s at right now. |
