Well I think calling it “universal masking” is also disingenuous. That sounds like something merely available to everyone like universal health care. But it is in fact forced on us, not merely an available option. If you don’t like how strong the word forced sounds, then let’s at least admit it’s a mandate. None of this “universal masking” language should fly either.

At this point our children are being mandated to wear a mask every day in school by our government. Fact.
