Dillards. They have a great selection and we were impressed by the quality of DD’s dress for homecoming.

Because we want to?

Definitely Macys online. Especially if you have petite girls like me. Surprisingly small selection in the brick and mortar Macys. Returns in store so suer convenient. And don’t forget your Macy coupons! And about now is the right time to start.

My daughter got two dresses at Windsor last year for prom and i thought they were great... did the trick and not a fortune.

promgirl.com

newyorkdress.com

theoutnet.com (you might snag a Marchesa for 80% off)

off5th.com (might get lucky, might not)

What about Bloomingdale’s?

Prom is surprisingly casual these days (depending on the school). Girls go low on the dresses and high on the accessories (designer bag/shoes) these days. Works better IMO bc they can always use the shoes and bag again, the dress just doesn't matter as much as it once did. The days of Miss Universe style pageant gaudy gowns are over thank God.

I've seen some absolutely gorgeous gowns in the past couple of years at our HS's prom. Girls seem to be going for classic glamour again, which is so nice to see.

Any updates? Aiming for Macy’s at Tyson’s and would welcome other ideas.

Did you have any luck? My DD and I went there about a week ago and everything is so jammed packed, it's hard to tell what's what. She did find a couple of pretty dresses, but not "the one."

Hi-
I didn't realize that Windsor had store fronts--they have a nice selection online...how is their selection at Tyson's (or Montgomery Mall)?
