Oh, oops. I misread the size you all wanted. Skip FIT and UCF. The other two are small.

University of North Florida in Jax. It’s a beautiful campus built on a nature preserve. Near the beach. Near the airport. Near shopping and restaurants. Definitely visit!

Already have UMiami (realize it’s a reach), Eckerd and Rollins. Where else should we tour/consider?

U Miami a reach with 3.7?

Agree! Very cool school.

I had never heard of it until a couple of DC’s friends chose to attend. Both were baseball players. It’s a small school with solid academics and strong athletics. But college in Florida? Seriously? Can’t think of anything less appealing….

Yes. Very popular school. Some of DD's friends with high stats thought they'd get in. DD knew she wouldn't and she had a 3.7.

OP here . I’m glad you have your opinion. I wouldn’t necessarily choose it either, but my child really wants to consider it, so here we are.

Thanks so much to those that provided suggestions.

UCF is a commuter school. Or it was when I lived in Orlando twenty years ago.
