We used Richard Montauk. He was by the hour. RichardMontauk.com.

DP. When did you begin to engage him? Can you outline what he did? Also, if you don't mind sharing, how much did he charge per hour and how many hours did you need from start to finish?

LOL! I swear these threads are started by people like Richard Montauk just to attract business. This isn't your personal advertising space

Yep, without fail, copy paste the ad for that guy in every single thread about college consultants.

OP asked and I answered. What’s your problem?

Thanks! That seems to be a good thread.

It would be nice if folks provide specifics, such as costs in this instance. It's not like it's a secret. That's likely one of the reasons why the other PPs were accusing these posters of being shills. I've also seem the Richardmontauk reference in multiple threads but never info. on cost. I don't believe that the rate is going to be different for each kid. Just share! I'm sure the counselors are not going to take offense to this. If they do, tough sh*t. It's not like this is confidential information.

This is similar to threads where parents act coy about the school they are talking about "MY DD is at a prestigious LAC in the Northeast where blah, blah, blah happened...". Just f'ing tell us which school already? What's with the all the secrecy? We don't know who you are and really don't care to figure out who you are!

we paid $800 an hour two years ago, about five hours total.

True. About a year ago, I found his info in one of those threads and reached out to him. He was very helpful, no regrets. It’s a bit early to tell exactly what the results are: two acceptances and one MIT deferral thus far, waiting to hear back from 10+ more colleges.
