I'm in development and I want to reassure the OP.
We don't look at your past giving until after you've been admitted and enrolled. If you or your school tell the admissions office that you're philanthropic, they will note it in your record as something to pass along to development at the right time. But it isn't going to sway anything unless you named a building or endowment at your current school. Even then, it only sways the decision if your child meets the admissions criteria. |
