Favorite kiddie birthday party food?

We did Panda Express one year to make a change from pizza - orange chicken, chow mein, fried rice and veggie spring rolls. The kids seemed to be happy.

I do brunch parties - kids love breakfast food (bagels, muffins, croissants, fruit), and we have donuts instead of cake.

We recently did chick fil a catering - nugget tray, fruit tray, and Mac n cheese tray and I would do it again.

Op here. I love the idea of brunch food. Our party is from 10:30-12:30 or I could probably switch to 10-12.

Most parties we have been to have food at the end. I could leave out brunch food and let people eat at their leisure and just sing and have cake at the end.

Yes and everyone talks about your cheapness behind your back

Everyone I know is happy to be invited to parties with or without full meals. We are cool with snacky parties.

I don’t see PP mentioning snacks though. Cake and drinks without snacks IS cheap. Any good host offers something.

We did Zoe's Kitchen (a variety of chicken, steak, and veggie roll-ups, plain cheese quesadillas for the picky eaters, fruit salad, and hummus with pita/cucumber and it was a big hit with kids and parents.

DP. If it's a 2-hour party between mealtimes, why is anything more needed?

+1. We did this. Kind of a hassle to reheat, but worked out in the end and everyone seemed to like the nuggets.

Agree that this is a great idea.

Will also add that I once bought pretzel rods for a preschooler party and for whatever reason, they were a huge hit.
