Iranian threat against Trump

Several former Trump officials, many with relatively obscure names you would not recognize, do have to live with secret service because Iran is literally trying to kill them.

Trump staffers do not subscribe to Francis Fukuyama end of history stuff and are realists so why would they be surprised?

Of course, if you attack a terrorist regime they may come after you. Nevertheless, they made the decision to kill the Quds Force commander in retaliation for their attacks on US troops-- not to advance "trumpism." So it doesn't make sense to me why people on this board are rooting for Iran to kill our officials.

You don't advertise the threats, as that only inspires copycats. Plus, you don't want to reveal any details as it may expose operational strenghts/weaknesses to Iran.

If condemning this type of threat would "escalate tensions," then the Iranian regime should be wiped off the map.

I’ll also remind you that not only did Trump pretty much assassinate Soleimani - just because he wanted to and he enjoyed violence - but he helped Saudi Arabia murder Khashoghhi. So just stop.
