No. Honors physics covers more — covers both M and E&M. Our school tells kids interested in engineering to take honors physics because of this. But if will have Calc by time take the AP, might as well take AP physics C if interested in STEM rather than Physics 1.

When I took it in high school, to go from AP Chem to SP Physics, they asked us to do some studying over the summer and pass a basics test.
