I love their cookies - they are both delicious and adorable. I love the idea of cookies as party favors. I’d rather receive a nice cookie than a bag of throw away trinkets. Also, they are memorable and thoughtful. |
But.I think the kids enjoy.the trinkets way more! |
| Do they need to be custom? Vie de France in Potomac sells fancy individually wrapped sugar cookies. |
Everything from Sunflower is delicious! We love it. |
They sure do. p.s. the trinkets are not for you, mom. |

I make custom cookies as a hobby. Go ahead and do this if you want to spend a lot of money and impress other moms or the teachers - or if you need instagram worthy pictures. Otherwise just get store cookies for preschool. Heck you can spend $30 on my an impulse sealer and cello bags from Amazon and individually package them.
My royal icing cookies are very good. People offer ask me to sell them, but it’s just not profitable and it steals my joy to work to a deadline on someone else’s design. Point is - my kids can have my cookies any time they want and they ask for Lofthouse grocery store cookies for school events. To my preschooler, they are sweeter and have more frosting. To my 2nd grader, he feel embarrassed by the attention I adults are fawning over the cookies. |
