I prefer Emmett but they’re both nice names. . I have 2 kids myself and from all the classmates/friends/teammates they’ve had over the years, I only know one kid w each name so I don’t think of either name as really popular.
Since your last name is long, I’d go w a short middle name. I also like family names as middles. Is there a family name that would be short and flow well? If not, I like PPs’ suggestions of Luke or John. |

Are Blake or Gray family surnames? If so, go for it. If not, consider a more traditional middle name just in case he hates his first name. |

Op here: Blake is, gray is not. I think we will probably sit on the middle name for a bit but are 99% on Emmett at this point. |
