Struggling - WFH Mom

I echo the above to work with the rhythms of the day. I save quiet play for scheduled work calls and wear my kids out with dance parties, hopping races, obstacle courses and crawling races. Then I do all work that can be done later after they go to bed. Yesterday we made cookies and I let the three year old do water play in the kitchen sink. Messy but I don’t care. No one is going to see my apartment! My older kids, eight and five, are both good readers which helps enormously. I am so glad their grandparents went overboard with Christmas books this year.

It’s hard but it’s temporary. You’ve got this, OP.

+1 this. The days that I can take it anymore they have unlimited screen time. It helps me get work done and rest at the end of the day. If they become “dumb” because few days of screen time I doubt they were born smart
