Injured deer

I would take it to an animal hospital. There aren’t ambulances for animals though, so you’re own for transportation. Maybe see if you can give it some treats like slices of apple or carrots, and get it to follow you to your car? Guide it into the backseat (and put a towel down on the seat first) and drive it to the animal hospital. I would think that veterinarians would know how to treat deers.

This post is proof that some of the dumbest human beings on earth post on this website.

JFC.

BTW, If you ever coax a wild deer into the backseat of a car to take it for a drive, please have a camera recording video for the hilarity that will ensue.

I took that post for a joke. No one can be that dumb IRL.

A police officer came by and said he was allowed two shots and would have to kill the deer, as it was the most humane thing to do. He came back to my door a few minutes later to say that he missed-twice-and the deer, now frightened, went deeper into the woods, presumably to die. He said his fellow officers were going to give him hell because he was such an awful shot.

Maybe he missed on purpose. A deer can still survive with one bad leg. Of course it would hold up an injured leg. It will heal. I've seen deer that can still use a half bad leg. It will become solid again. They only have a small territory so can still get around.

Nothing in that post denotes humor or sarcasm.

Clearly some people are absolutely that dumb. And they post here regularly.

Where are you from?

The police dispatcher will dispatch an officer to dispatch the deer.

NP and thanks for this dispatch, PP.

The deer in our neighborhood with a severely broken leg made it through the winter two years ago and is now the deer with a limp. She seems happy enough and I am happy everytime she limps through my yard that I didn't listen to all the people who told me to have her shot.

In a somber and serious thread, this response made me LOL.
