considering VBAC & scared of vaginal delivery

OP, I am in a similar position as you. I had a c-section due to baby in distress and I did not find my c-section recover to be that. All along, I thought I would just schedule my second c-section; know the date, so I can have my Mom came and watch my DS, know what to expect, etc. But when I started doubting that idea and thinking I should go for a VBAC. I have no idea if it would go well or not since I was only in early labor before. Meanwhile, both my sisters had c-sections the first time. One sister had two successful VBACs and the other had long labor that resulted in a second c-section. So, inconclusive on that front. Part of me is thinking, I will schedule the section and if I go into labor before, try for the VBAC. But I am freaked out about the info. regarding uterine rupture and that it is higher risk to the baby. Not sure this helps...
