Cooking-themed gift basket -- what sauces would you buy?

It’s like some pps were never 23 and new at something or have the exquisite developed palate you do now, in your 40s.
Some people really do just want to grab Yum Yum sauce from the fridge and squeeze it on their salmon and rice that just came out of the InstaPot.

I would do a theme of basics:

red wine vinegar
white wine
olive oil
high quality dijon

add a shallot and you have a great dressing for a green salad add some diced green/shallot and you have a vegetarian dressing for potato salad (of course I like to add bacon to that

You could do an Asian food theme:

soy sauce
rice wine vinegar
fish sauce
toasted sesame oil
hot sauce

should say white wine vinegar although I'm sure the wine would be appreciated as well

My issue with Yum yum is that a lot of those sauces just aren’t very good. The Yum yum has like a 3 star average review at Target and reviews are usually pretty inflated there IMO. Taking stuff out of the fridge and squeezing it on is just fine… but make it good stuff! Like chili crisp, sambal oelek, good sesame oil or furikake from Hmart, local jam, small batch sauces.

And I think those “good” squeeze on sauces are what we’re looking for. But for a 23 yr old. I’ve never heard of half these recommendations so I’d need more guidance, for example a particular brand (but maybe samba oelek or furikaki is a brand but I have no idea what they are)
