Go back to your disordered eating, Debbie, no one cares. |
| I'd nobody want them, why do all the people in the DC area hoard them? |
| Hmmmm - I need to try this again. It was yummy until they sold it to Kraft and I stopped buying it. I see it’s now made by Carambar. |
| LOL, thanks for the chuckle. I used to buy them a long time ago. Now I want one too! |
| It's a Brit thing. Most Americans don't understand. They were extinct last year too. |
Whew, thank you so much for your valuable input. Before your post, we were all under the mistaken impression that Christmas candy was health food.
|
It’s candy. Everyone knows candy isn’t healthy. That’s why it’s a treat and not a regular part of one’s diet. |
|
I've had one of these in my Christmas stocking every year since I can remember.
Gold chocolate coins in the toe, plus a clementine/mandarin. Terry's chocolate orange. I only bought one this year (dark, not milk!) it seemed like overkill. Now I may have to hunt down a couple more. |
Around here, a small number of people buy them and resell them to the millions at an inflated price. |
+1000 Why do people even comment on threads like this? Is it like the Mormons, who are forced to go convert people as part of their mission? Do you get a toaster if 10 people stop eating chocolate oranges or something? |
| Terry’s used to be a lot better quality ten years ago or so. My family is British so I grew up with them and always bought them for stockings. Nowadays I buy Ovation brand, usually from Walmart. The taste is a lot better, though still not as good as the old Terry’s. |
|
Suckers, I found them today and bought 10. The early bird gets the delicious chocolate orange.

Thanks for the heads up, OP! They are my DH's favorite. I get one for his stocking.
Must race to Target! |
+1. I was in the rockville store on Sunday. There are tons of them! |
