| Old Navy Power Slim Straight. I love these. They're like skinny jeans from the knees up but looser from the knee down. They also don't get baggy. |
You have to wash them in cold water and line dry so that they don't lose their stretch. |
😆 |
Yes. They have zero stretch. |
| I'm wearing Lucky straight leg and an old navy boot kick. I don't like the mom jeans. My thighs are too big. |
Boot kick are the epitome of mom jeans. There are two buckets of mom jeans currently trendy (that were incredibly untrendy 2 years ago) -- the generically straight leg 90s style, and boot kick. |

Universal Standard has some that are on the mom jean trend but for an older demographic:

"universal standard" sizing
|
Yeah, I've never understood this. I applaud them for serving the full range of bodies and I get that they are trying to point out that the average or "medium" size based on actual bodies is more like a size 18 than a size 6. Ok. But if I'm a 30 in tops, I don't know that going with "2XL" necessarily feels more inclusive. Numbers feel more clinical and thus less judgment-laden to me. The way they do their sizing actually somehow feels MORE judgmental than standard sizing measures, even though I understand the intent is the opposite. |
Yeah, I agree that it's weird but their clothes are great and the sizing is consistent across the brand so whatever |

Mid-40s mom here with a medium frame who tried to wear the trendy straight-leg fashion and just looked like a block. I like the lighter wash trends with a skinny jean fit.
