Do I need a roasting pan?

Totally a tangent but for roasting chicken I’ve found a clay roasting dish to be the very best. Mine is from pampered chef but there are probably others.

+1 I roast my chickens in Pyrex at the moment but my family gold standard (for when I have more cupboard space) is a clay pot.
