| Wet brush, my kid thinks is least painful |
| My DD also is profoundly disabled. She loves the Disney princesses and was captivated by her Ariel and Jasmine Wet Brushes. They do a great job of detangling her curly, wet hair. Costco currently has several gift sets available. |

Op, you’re a great mom. I too, loveeee to have my hair brushed/played with/braided. What about one of these wire scalp massagers? Not what you asked for but she might love this if she loves being brushed

| My son loves my aveda paddle brush. It looks nice and the bristles are soothing. My stylist said I could put essential oils on the handle to bring in a scent, but I haven’t tried that. |

| My son is 9 and still uses his kid size Mason Pearson brush. |
My grandfather always used these and I have fond memories of running into his bedroom to snag one with my brother so we could just...brush. And we were little kids who would cry about having hair brushed and detangled constantly. They are expensive, but kept in good condition last for years and years. |

Wet Brush brand for shower - it detangles
Conair Boars Bristle brush for dry hair. It's no fuss, just glides over any knots to smooth hair down. Now we added hairspray, then glide boars hair brush. |
