Stuffing is too dry; what to do?

OP here -- I regret to inform you that, despite your generous encouragement and excellent advice, the stuffing remained dry and was our one Thanksgiving fail. Sigh. My bad entirely. Fortunately, everything else was chef's kiss-delicious! And, interestingly, nobody seemed to care about the stuffing. It made me wonder if we even need it next year. Does anyone actually like stuffing? Am I just rationalizing? Maybe I'll try the Smitten Kitchen challah stuffing (ironically, we have a home-baked loaf sitting in the freezer.)
